We’re living in a society where:
Innocent lives are lost to senseless violence and terrorism.
Citizens are oppressed by those in power.
The poor are getting poorer, while the rich are getting richer.
Corruption and injustice reign supreme.
It’s heartbreaking to see our nation in this state. It’s devastating to witness the suffering of our people. But…
There’s still a light that shines through the darkness. And that light is our shared humanity.
We’re all human beings, deserving of love, respect, and dignity. We all have hearts that beat, souls that yearn, and minds that dream.
So, let’s make a choice. Let’s choose to see the humanity in each other. Let’s choose to love, to forgive, and to understand.
